Is swapping a 1.6 pinto for a 2lt just a straight swap? Or do other items such as clutch, flywheel, bell housing, starter, alternator inlet or exhaust manifold need changing or modifying in any way.
Can anyone help me please. I have a 2b with 1.6 pinto that won't start. Turns over great,as far as I can tell the ignition system is working. Thought it might be fuel or carb, so checked supply to carb and it seems to be OK. If I spray damp start into carb it starts and will run until damp start is used up. If I start car and carry on spraying it will keep running. Any ideas
