Richard you're right, SKCC are taking about 30 along. We are all meeting up for a breakfast first and then arriving at Brands en masse at about 10.30

Ive been let off the hook.....I was supposed to chauffeur the Boss shopping tomorrow.

My daughter has offered to take my place....!!!!! Result....!!!

Hi Guys,

I was a bit too late to meet you at the golf club, so I waited in a layby on the A20 just before

the circuit.

I got there at 10:15 & waited until 10:45,but no sign of anybody.

More worryingly, not one kit car passed me, so I thought I may have the wrong day.

Went home, double checked the day, & went down again about 1pm.

I shouldnt have bothered....the heavens opened just as I got there, &

everything came off the track.

I had a brief wander round, but there wasnt much to see.

We got to the track around 10am, after a brilliant full English at the golf club; (worth the trip just for that) so that's how come you missed the 30+ kits. Disappointed there wasn't more stands, maybe we didn't understand that it was mainly track action --- left before the group could have a "stroll" round the circuit in our own cars. Came home through a cloud-burst on the M25 -- but stayed dry as roof already fixed on.

Looked foggy and damp so had a haircut and trip to cinema this afternoon.

Saw one poor unfortunate on the hill leading up to the track....

Ambition outweighed ability.

I think it was a 7 type....bit hard to tell....it was buried in the trees at the side of a straight section of road

It certainly didnt look repairable, but there was no ambulance so hopefully not too much

personal damage.

Yet one more example of how badly these things bite especially in the wet

Went to the Classic Car & Motorbike show at Birmingham NEC instead. Excellent! 1700 cars on show including GBS and other alternative cars. Decent autojumble. Rally Design, Burton Power, Europa Spares and others were there.
