Reverse Light

Hello, I am David from Spain; I have a 2B with Pinto engine and a type 9 gerarbox. I must install a reverse light (it is not installed in my car) to pass the spanish VAT, do any of you know where is the reverse switch in the gearbox?, I lifted the car but I didn´t find it.

On the left( passenger ) of the 'box just ahead of the gear shift , black plastic with two round brass pins as far as I remember.

As above but mine was on the right hand side.

Best way to see it is from the top by removing the gear lever

As above but mine was on the right hand side.

 

 

Suffering from my wife's left/right problem --- it gets worse with age so don't laugh -- you youngsters have it coming.
