Colour Of Cables To Main Beam Dash Lights

Can anyone tell me please I have blue /white one side and neutral on the other and it won't light up ? Checked the bulb it's working any help please guys it's ford sierra wiring .

If it's sierra then the Haynes manual should help ?

If it's a sierra loom then main should be white and dip is yellow. The dash light should be white with a blue tracer from one of the headlight wires. Depends what main beam warning light you have fitted but an earth (brown) will also be needed.
