LOL. Just to considerate.

I could do with a new mx5 owner to take the pee out of.

Nothing less than a mans style car. Boxer or above. XKR are ad cent car to buy. You will however need a tow bar to pull a tank of fuel along with you though. LPG ones are available though.

S2000 but the tax & insurance were pretty high when I looked at one

That was my 1st choice but like you say the costs are still very high hence the MR2.

Needed some thing a bit different to all the MX5 's.

The only down side to the MR is no possibility to fit a tow bar.

After buying a very nice mk3, I expected to be able to fit a towbar for a trailer

to use on my annual French jaunt.

I couldnt find anywhere that made one.....plenty for mk 1 and 2, but nothing for mk3

After a bit of digging it turns out the mk3 has a zero towing weight on the logbook,

so it would be illegal to fit one.

Bummer....

PS cheers Tractor for the link.....

I just booked in for the Swedish full body massage.....

Bmw z4.mid 2k facelift models. 3.0 6 pot. 285bhp.

Boxster isn't all that in my opinion.

Merc supercharger is ok but they are a bit tempremental.

For 10k you can get a good Elise, just saying.

Might as well jump in with my opinion, check out the car tax classification on these cars, one of my brother-in-law's has an slk, costs 500 nicker to tax, my other brother-in-law has a boxster and it costs somewhere near 300 to tax whereas my 4 litre gas guzzler costs the same as the Westfield at 225 quid and the insurance is pretty good at 285 so when looking for the next toy maybe look beyond performance and see what it takes to put them on the road.

By the way, get a TVR, the racket coming out of the back end is intoxicating and they are more comfortable and spacious than the other two.

Cheers Mark
