Ebay Search Fail

Well a partial fail

Last night I noticed the loft tank overflow was drinking out onto the patio.

In the loft I go, not an easy job as the roof is only 4 foot to the top and filled with those modern thin beams.

Ball Cock float had slid up, the screw holding it had corroded and the thread in the collar is

( I think ) 8 mm with a 1.5mm pitch, so no bolts in my collection old or new that fit, I bodged it for the night with edge trim and cable ties.

In a break at work today I went on eBay and searched for Ball Cock Well I can tell you not all of the results were plumbing orientated

Reminds me of my search on ebay for a small vacuum pump.......'enlargement pump' was the title of one item!!!

That's odd. Maybe my ISP is filtering out all the hard stuff for me
