Steering Problem

Hi I have a 2b and when I turn the steering lock to lock the cycle wing brackets hit the side panels. Any advise?

Hi Phil,

 

Several people have had this issue recently.

Search for the post "sliding pillar IVA fail" think you will find what you need.

 

Either a jubilee clip or spacer fitted inside the boot of the steering rack will do the trick.

put a mechanic stop, such as a collar on the steering rack to restrict the lock to lock travel. That's what I did with mine
