Sub-K Suspension

hi guys

 

haven't been on here in a while, sold my exmo and now just bought a sub-k.

 

i want to change the front suspension for double wishbone. i remember reading on here a couple of years back that it was possible and someone had posted pics/diagrams and parts needed to do it.

 

can't find it anywhere, can someone help please.

I'm sure gbs sell a kit for it.

Look on kitspares it's about £600

yea seen the kit you're talking about. however i think it's for the 2b but with some welding and modification it can be used for the sub-k.

 

it's those modifications that i was after.

 

maybe kit spares have some photos on how it's done.

The 2b and sub k are the same chassis with different front suspension systems. The sub k was later introduced as the 2b whilst the double wishbone 2b was named the 2b plus.

There are a few folk on this forum that have done the modification themselves, either by fabricating their own wishbones or by having GBS do it for them or fitting the GBS kit themselves.

Someone should be on here so that can provide pictures.

thanks for your input guys, hopefully someone may be able to help. will be ringing GBS tomorrow to order the kit.
