High Pressure Fuel Pump

Recommended Posts

because the unit is so large i just cant cut it down enough to fit in the tank so have had the aluminium collar made to raise the height of the tank my only concern is where the fuel enters the swirl pot

finger indicating a hole in the top of swirl pot where i think the fuel goes in

When the tank is empty, the fuel will flow into the swirl pot through the one way valve at the bottom of the pot where the return connects to. Once the engine is running the pressure from the fuel hitting the top of the valve closes it and so returned fuel goes into the bottom of the swirl pot.

Me and richly both run the same unit and so far so good :)
