Chris If your Machine goes completely and you change it would highly recommend Bosch or if your budget will take it Meile. Our Bosch has been in service now for about 15 or more years. Just bought the cheapest Bosch we could afford from place in Birmingham that sells units new that have been replaced by newer models. Will try to remember am sure it was

+1 for Miele......we are now on our second one

We bought the first one 18 years ago, & our second one

just 3 years ago.

Yes it cost £700 all those years ago, but it lasted 15 years

with no repairs at all.

So less than £50 pa.

How would you know about a 747, country bumpkin....?

Next time you pop around I will show you a 747 or airbus and compare it to our washing machine, which is a 7 year old Indesit with bearings that have been wearing out for the last 3 months....

Brilliant at high spin for drowning out the airplanes, in fact I think the airport have contacted there solicitors about taking out a noise pollution policy against our property.

My old man binned a Bosch 12 years ago cos it was rusty in a couple of places, mainly cos he kept it in the garage. Gave him a good 27 years of service, without service or any faults.

I only wish I had been there when it was removed..... as I would probably still have it now

Miele man now ... Inherited a 12 year old washing machine when we bought the house from a commercial outfit who ran a home for adults with learning difficulties. Had been used at least once a day, ran for 4 more years before I spent £20 on parts and then another 6 before retiring.

My first washing machine lasted for 16 years.

That was until I found out she was a Manchester tart while serving in NI.

Second one has lasted near 30 years so far.

Nowt wrong we a new model now and again.

Can I have the drum Chris?

Fire-pit or BBQ Andy? There is a duff washing machine sat in our green-house, but it will be collect only if Chris keeps/returns his. My street- cred is low enough with-out tying a w/machine drum to the back of Florin.
