Wishbone Bushes

I want to replace the current solid nylon wishbone bush set up on a New Series 3 with a top hat and crush tube arrangement allowing a more positive set up. Has anyone done this is so please can they point me in the direction of a suitable bush supplier.

I've done this and was going to use bronze top hat bushes but found that the upper wishbone tube where the bushes fit has a seam down its length and worse still, it is distorted due to the welding of the other tubes onto it. It would really need to be reamed circular or press the bushes into place and inline ream their bores to fit your new shaft.

 

I ended up turning up some bearing grade nylon top hat bushes with polished Inconel crush and bearing tubes (only thing I had to hand). Repeated fitting and measurements were needed to get the tubes the right length. I retained the original idea of washers for the caster adjustment but used stainless washers. I used HT m16 bolts to assemble the lot together.
