St170 Vvt Controller

On Friday my car went into the garage to get the new VVT controller fitted mapped and Dyno'd. Before it went in it was just running switchable vvt at 2500rpm which was good but could catch the unwary out if it kicked in mid corner. The power before was 179bhp @ 6400rpm at the flywheel,

With the new controller fitted what can i say its fantastic the difference on the road is phenomenal. power is now 195bhp at the flywheel @ 7000rpm. the power delivery is just constant throughout the whole rev range its like a rocket ship.

Torque is sitting at 145Nm which looking at the old figure is down by 20 but this has not made any difference the car just feels so much quicker overtaking is a hyperdrive blur.

is this designed for any ecu combination or specific one

I'm pretty sure it can be added to any ECU that has inputs for crank sensor and cam sensor I'm running Omex 600
