My Laptop

Bought a Acer aspire laptop about 9years ago it has been in for repair twice once was my fault down loaded windows 10 and it didn't like that and about a year ago one of the hinges broke so been carefully using it since but decided to fix it with epoxy resin had to take keyboard off to do it put it back together now keyboard won't work mouse works but no keyboard anyone got any ideas wots wrong I have found the on screen keyboard so it is still soldiering on just

ribbon cable not in properly

my repair on the hinge didnt work but at least the keyboard is working again

turns out the way the ribbon goes back in is different

still works just have to keep the furnace stoked
