Fan Switch

Thrashed

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I am after some advise. I have a fan switch in my top hose. Which after runnin the engine up to temp I find out the switch is not working and the engine started to overheat. I pulled out the switch and with a thermometer and continuity test boiled a pan of water. Temp got to boiling and no continuity between the 2 pins. I guess the switch is not working??

So looking for a replacement m14 x 1.5 on at 95, off at 90. Inter part number is 50041. Both local motor factors want £25 trade for a new switch and car builders want £16 odd for a new one, but want £7.20 for postage!!! I think this is very steep.

Anyone have a good supplier they can recommend.

Cheers

Steve

For future reference if you actually call CBS up they will do you cheaper postage. I did recently when ordering some switches etc. It does say that on the site somewhere.
