Lincolnshire Meets For September

This weekend is looking pretty rough, so our opportunities are:

1. Horsepower at the Hall/Gearheads at the Ground, Sunday 17th at 13:00 at the Newrak Showground. Hopefully this time it will be on and the weather behaves. For those who haven't been before, this normally has a huge turnout of cars and is a good day.

2. Pub lunch on Saturday 16th. (Let me know if you are interested)

3. End of Season Bash on 22-24th.

And looking ahead, don't forget our usual attendance at the Corby Glen Sheep Fair on Sunday 8 Oct. If you haven't been before, it's a nice day out at a 'typically British' village fair. More details to follow.

Still in two minds about Newark tomorrow (Sunday 17th). Nipped down to my daughters today based on a rather optimistic weather forecast and on the way back got absolutely drenched 3 times ! So will probably wait till tomorrow morning before deciding. If anyone is going, note that the start time is now 12:00 (although the gates open a lot earlier for exhibitors). I see they have also decided to 'group' up the different types of cars and have defined about 10 different groups for people to self-allocate to themselves. Unfortunately none of them relate to kit cars :) So apart from Mick, we will just have to wing it.
