Hi
Me again, seem to be asking a lot of questions at the moment.
Last couple of trips ive noticed a slight vibration when turning right both at slow and high speed am I right in thinking wheel bearing, car has only done 6500 miles and all parts were new (it's a super spec).

Mot is due in about 6wks.

Also how do you stop creaky suspension

I had to have a wheel bearing replaced at 6500 miles so it could be.

Standard feature of the Superspec, we all have it :)

Resurecting an older topic here but my vibration was put down to a cracked steering rack mount or casing not sure which, this had been welded but i think it may have broken loose, the mechanic said there wasnt much to weld to would this be the case for the mounts or can a steering rack casing crack to give vibrations.

Also if it is the rack thats knackered then what Mk escort is it off, I read it might be a MK2 which maybe difficult to get hold of I would think.

Ok had mechanic look at the weld which is still intact but when moving the steering wheel you can see the plate the steering rack is mounted to flex a bit.

Has anyone strenthened the plate where a super spec rack mounts to? If so how and with what

No, and she's been through 10 x MOTs now :)  Can't do any harm though.
