Exmo Camber Problem

Hi

after my car ( Exmo) failed on front track control arms bushes i have replaced them but now have camber issues on the drivers side only.

the wheel now have very noticeable positive camber on the one side only.

 

I cant see any way to adjust camber at all

Well I suppose the obvious answer is, did you check that the control arm is the right length before and after? A common fit was P100 arms and bushes as the bushes were slightly "stiffer", I believe...? Maybe this resulted in it holding the arm slightly tighter in position?

 

Otherwise if it was fine before and now it's not, I'm not sure what else it could be, assuming the top mount hasn't moved into another hole, or maybe it's slotted in some way and has moved outward?

Check that the spring is sitting properly on its top and bottom seats, if not seated properly it could be lifting that corner and giving positive camber. When i had mine after it had been jacked up the spring would sometimes give acrack as it settled into position

Thanks all.

Sorted it this afternoon.

Wrong part supplied,new one about 20mm shorter. New parts collected and fitted problem solved.
