No Vacuum Port On My R1 Carb Inlet Manifold

Ok guys, I am putting mr1 carbs on my c20xe, however i hav no vacuum port on my inlet msnifold for my break servo vacuum ext, what do i do? Thanx lew

Probably best to weld a tapped boss onto one of the manifold runners, it will work fine from one.

Otherwise you will need a leg like Popeyes arm.

It depends............ long standing issue with kit owners.

You do not need a servo, and most folk without one prefer it that way.

Try it for a day (not 5 minutes)

+1 for no servo. 10 years now without one.

+2 for no servo. Even with discs all round, I can still lock up the wheels if I wanted to.

No servo on mine but you might want to upgrade your pads poss calipers and alter your pedal ratio etc

As Rob said above --Ford KA master cylinder & no servo -- the Sierra pedal set-up is fine -- needs a more positive push if really, really needing to stop but that's O.K Sylvia drives Florin & finds the brake set-up to be no problem.
