Pinto Oil Breather System

Guest Ginzie

Recommended Posts

I am trying to work out the breather system to my 2.0 pinto SOHC. I am running twin dellorto 40's.

I understand that I need to pipe from the rocker cover (oil cap) to a chamber and also pipe to the main breather point on the n/s of the block. From the chamber that I have bought do I then just vent this to atmosphere with a simple breather filter?

Many thanks

Mark

the pipe from the rocker cover goes to the air filter on the doner, on your 2b take it to a bottle to catch any oil fumes, the other outlet goes to a breather filter

Guest mower man

Run both pipes to a vented catch tank with a breather on the lid I used a s/s coffee storage tin , an adapter from Rally Design [ replaces the PCV thingy on the block] and some hyd bulk head fittings , connected with oil proof hose . Pm your postal address and I, will send you some photo,s HTH mowerman [Mick]
