Hi,

Please forgive me for being a right numpty!!

I got my RH 2B last year - found this morning I had a screw in the tyre. Took it to the tyre people and they asked what my tyre pressure and wheel nut torque was. Realised I hadn't a clue (could believe i hadn't checked before - though not many miles over winter but still no excuse). Anyway, anyone got any idea?

My tyre 205/60R13 86H

Thanks, Clive

People usually inflate their tyres to 18psi, give our take a psi. Wheel nut torque, well that would be determined by the specs for the donor. Usually I make sure it is not to tight I could not replace a wheel my self at the side of the road.

Hi.....thanks for that.

Actually I said to the fitters, what's the pressure on the other tyres and it was 19psi. They thought 'way to low' so cranked up to 30-looks like the other tyres were about spot on!.....so I'll have to correct.

As I say, thanks for your help. Clive

30 is fine if you want to loose all feel of car. Jesus, what a xxxx.

As sidewall is first part of the suspension its a little more technical than just choosing a pressure. That said i agree 20 is a good starting point. Perhaps try to experiment with diferences and see if you can feel any diferences.

Id go 22rear 24front as a base but thats my preference on my car.
