I'm looking at organising a return trip to L'Orangerie gite on the above dates.

Already have a few people interested but there are some spare places. The cost for the gite is about £95 per person for the week plus your ferry/tunnel crossing, fuel, food and drink.

The gite can be seen at http://www.homeaway.co.uk/p421125

If you're interested either contact me or post below.

The boat was muted in a vague haze of alcohol inspired brave talk, but in the cold light of hangover it may have been a step too far into the very well known " I don't feel so good" realm !

Jury is out but I think it may well be Friday under the water, hotel that night in Calais. Drive across Sat, much the same as last time.

On a boat you are allowed to talk to people you know , even if you are very nice shade of green.

You should have played Safe and done this massive trip to Scotland instead.

Yup

I will still be surrounding my lunch instead of it being in the fishes!

Are you doing Scotland then?

No , much prefer a road trip in Europe .

Carole has A/L confirmed, Ferry Booked, Over night to Caen see you all for breakfast.

We are travelling back early ferry Sunday 27th.

We're over in France at the moment so we called in at L'Orangerie yesterday. Had a chat with Andrew who was getting the place spruced up ready for the first guests at easter.

Booking is all confirmed and he's said he'll do a bit of work to the drive just by the gates where we struggled a bit last time.
