Diff Oil

anybody know how much oil a diff holds cos its expensive stuff and dont want to buy to much

If i remember correctly chris standard diff 0.9l lsd 1l

filled my 7" diff recently and it was over a litre to the filler, the 7.5" might be more.

You need x ray eyes as its supposed to be 1/2" below the filler plug

Back in the dark ages when I was a Ford apprentice and dealerships had training centres, we were taught to fill until the oil started to dribble out , let the excess run away and that was fine on both diffs and gearboxes.

Yes I know that I just wanted I rough idea on how much to buy 1Ltr or 2ltrs

I'd go for 1.5 if possible.

put 1ltr in and didn't touch the sides so back to eurocarts to buy some more
