Bonnet

Hi. My old engine decided to give up just before the iva test....Nevermind. So I've managed to find and for a recon efi engine. The bonnet seems to be a bit close to the inlet. Does anyone have the same trouble and what have you done to solve the problem? Just cut the bonnet and stick on a vent?

If you are using the ford injection then yes the plenum is to high to go under the bonnet. There are 2 options. 1 cut down the plenum there should be the instructions on here somewhere if not pm me I think I still have them. Option 2 is to cut the bonnet. I suppose the 3rd option would be to change to carbs

There's 2 options in my signature pics. 1st is standard bonnet bulge supplied with kit, 2nd is a Mitsubishi L200 bonnet scoop reversed.
