1987efi set up dous the negative side of coil receive a signal from tfi module from dizzy Hall effect senser which switches earth on and off with spinning rotor arm etc?

As have 12v at +on coil but no earth

Yes. Wire the green from the TFI to the coil negative and remove it's other connection from the suppressor and isolate it as in your other thread.
