36 long hours. At least the beast from the east may lower your temps, increasing density, more power.

And yes im clutching at straws.

This is the beast from the east(mids)

Nice.

You gotta be happy with that. Any idea on boost and AFRs?

What fuel pressure are you at now and what are you aiming for.

I have the bosche 044 pump on mine. Cheap and plenty of flow.

I just can some calcs out of intetest.

I started with Air ambient of 5° same as intake temps. Boost i gave at 11 with a 2 drop to give 9psi at manifold. The cfm requirements give a tad over 300 and at 11psi boost puts a tdo4 13t at 73% efficiency(just). Noting an intercooler and hence 2psi drop ive allowed for 75% efficiency.

All of these combined with a 90% ve of the zetec and 6000rpm limit, afr of 13.1 gives 230bhp.

I see that as fairly on the ball. I initialy worked out 233bhp but didnt take into account density ratio and the heat which was why when i re calculated i came up with much lower. The addition of your intercooler is what brings it back up.

All in all thats not a bad guess and not a bad motor.

Torque was 200 by my calcs, what was it and where?

And congrats on the beast from the east (mids)
