Areodynamix Supply & Fit / Other Kit Car Garage

I've been recommended a few products from the aerodynamix guys, I've been looking at the kick strips, boot install & kick panels.

Having said that I think I'm coming to the end of what I can do to sort my car out due to my lack of mechanical knowledge of carbs ect. It's close, fuel at the carbs and was running a month ago but the carbs weren't balanced at all and was popping & banging. Will turn over if carb easy start used but won't run past that now. Only other thing I can see it needs is a possible relay to sort the low beam lights out as full beam/ flash work along with the horn.

I see on their site http://www.aerodynamix.co.uk/ they do MOT tests ect.

Does anyone know if they would take my car over and get it back on the road?

Could anyone suggest a place that would do such a thing local to me. Gloucestershire or surrounding area? No rush on the completion so wether it takes a week or a month or so that's fine.

Any info or input would be great!

Aerodynamix is run by a chap called Julian Eisel and as you say, he is a qualified MOT man. He doesn't test at his factory unit but uses an MOT station over the road from him, he will be doing my Zero when it comes up for its first MOT next year. He mainly specialises in GRP and Carbon Fibre parts and is really a one man operation, with a bit of help from another guy. He could do the MOT for you but I don't think he is equipped to do any repairs or set ups, but he might be able to suggest someone.

Other than Aerodynamix, you could try Bradley's Garage at Shipton Under Wychwood, also known as BTEC racing http://www.btecracing.co.uk/. They have a rolling road there so could set up and balance your carbs for you. They also do MOTs and repairs so could be a good 1 stop shop.

There is also a company called track day toyz http://www.trackdaytoyz.co.uk/. A friend of mine used them to do some repairs on his Westfield and I think they could probably do MOT, set up and repairs as well.

I don't know if any of them have a collection service or whether you would need to get the car to them, but a quick phone call to each would establish this.

Hope this helps.

I know a lot of the local people from migweb vaxhaull club recommend them for their abilities of setting up carbs / rolling roads so I know he's done a lot of c20xe corsa's & such with good results. Is it better to wait until after winter to get it set up rather than getting it set up then locking it in the garage for 4 months?
