Yes, but if they are close, don't bother. I have only 2mm clearance between a tyre and one of the brackets and it's been like that for 10 years with no problem.

Mines close atm so just trying to plan ahead, only paid £50 for all 4 wheels so not much lost if I can't fit them and can easily shift them on if no good

Yeah was going to drop from 205 to 195 maybe 190 but ET is different so that changes things as well

Yeah your ET is going to be the one to be careful of mate

Well it seems I can't make them fit, the bracket that fits (the one with the 2 short arms) directly onto the top of the hub just won't budge and its actually hitting the rim of the wheels.

Unless anyone knows of a different style of bracket, I have seen some on other makes of 7 style cars but not sure if they would work on the sierra hubs on a Super Spec

Did think of that Bob but ive a feeling it's a combination of the wing brackets and the ET of the wheels, im trying to go from the standard RH wheel 15x6.5j ET15 to

16x7j ET38.

Ive seen a post about using the mk indy brackets

Anyone used these ?
