Hi Alan,

The S7 used the Cortina front suspension.

Inboard shocks were on the 3 or 3A ?

Post a picture of the front suspension or do a search on this forum, the types / models are documented.

You are in the Thames Valley Area, Sunday Lunch is the 19th August a combined event with the Southern Region (Florin as above) so contact Bob (Florin) for places at the table with drive after wheel kicking.

Best place to get info on your car.

Whilst the S3 & S3a had inboard front shocks, so did the S7.

S7 used various donors, depending on which variant was in vogue - Triumph Dolomite, Ford Cortina and Ford Sierra (both with & without the subframe).

Easiest way is to post up a pic :)

Alan, (both) it's 100 miles or there-abouts to our Copythorne meet from Aylesbury, so maybe best if Alan Kingsty met us at a future Theale meet. Not putting you off mate you're welcome if this distance is no bother for a day out.

Thats the same as my brother's in-board front suspension, right down to those overriders in front of the rear arches covering the ends of the rear beam. His is a 3a.
