Getting Dings Out Of Aluminium Panels

Does anyone have any tips on getting 'dings' out of Aluminium panels?

have seen it done to perfection, reducing hammer, time and above all........................................skill

 

the "modern" way is filler and paint

 

It is not a thing that can be advised on line. an apprentice served four years to get anywhere near.

 

It can be done,

 

I have seen a 31/2 Bently front wing formed from an english wheel and a god called Jim.

 

but the Jim's of this world are now few and far between, If you find someone, called Jim or anything, please let us know

Not sure how bad or what kind of dings you have but one of the neighbours had 38 1- 2cm dings in her tin top roof after a recent hail storm and some chap in a back street garage got rid of them all by a suction machine. It looks pristine and with no paint job required.
