after many attempts to get the st170 to run correctly i have given up and mated a zetec head to the st170 bottom end so far i have manually turned the engine over hopefully tomorrow i might start it up

there is an upside to doing this it means the turbo conversion has started early when turbo is fitted i wont need vvt but i do need a stronger bottem end which the st170 block provides

Turbo, oh yes please. Where are you going to get the turbo kit from? I could not find any in UK last time I looked, and did not want to buy from states.

i have been collecting a few bits to do the turbo kit over the last year plus a couple of gearboxes a mt75 and a v6 type9 to handle the extra power if any already upgraded diff to lsd :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Look forward to seeing the end results, going to run mine on twin 45's for the next 12 months. I have already lost most of this year due to engine change and health issues.

But I will watch you builds for future reference.
