i find it strange where all the mk1 lotus elises went? haven't seen one in years! only seen a couple of mk2's over the past few years too.

The standardisation of seats made out of material rather than plastic which scolded you on a hot sunny day when wearing shorts was a major leap forward.

Wow, I have been through a few of those. Had 2 Fiat 131s, a Fiat Regata, a Pug 309 and my wife had an Alfasud.

I count 7. 127, Uno, Sierra, Viva, Nova all pretty rubbish. Plus a Capri 2.0S which was fun and a 309GTI which was fast and fun. I can't believe the list is very comprehensive. Favourite car was my Triumph dolly sprint and there can't be many dolomites still on the road.
