Design Weights

Hi all

I'm filling out my form for SVA test and I need to know the design weights

for axle 1 & axle 2 on Robin Hood series 3A

By the way what address do I send the form to?????

axel 1 = 450

axel2 =600

gross =1050kg

address, sva section , vosa ,91/92 the strand ,swansea, sa1 2dh

mine is a 2b but think yours should be similar??

Thanks for the quick response,

I've just found the address for Vosa in small print on the notes

for completing the SVA form!!!!!!!

Must get my eyes tested.

 

 

Anyways I got my Vin number saturday,I'm posting my SVA

application today,depending how quickly Vosa respond I hope

to get the SVA done this month......on the road by April.

 

On a wing and a prayer may get to Detling in my Hood!!!

I've just spoken to Richard at RHSC and he does'nt have a clue

what the weights should be

he said that I' ll have to "take it somewhere to get it weighed"!!!!!!!!!!

PS : Do I put on form your actual weights,without driver

but rounded up say 350 axle 1 & 400 axle2?????

For info my 2B was 370Kg on the front and 340 kg on the back with a 1600 pinto/stainless panels.

 

But remember you have to add 75Kg per person weight to that.

Design weight is the maximum static weight that the axle is expected to see.

The brake test uses this info.

If the car + fuel + passengers + luggage can come out to more than the weight you have declaired then expect a fail.
