I'm preparing to embark on what will probably be a mazda zero build. I have yet to physical sit in one, as finding time to visit factory is proving difficult at the moment, but would any seen any problems with me fitting in one as I'm only 5'4"! I will visit the factory before buying!

So with building, given that the build will take 'a while' I would like to build it on something with wheels. I am kicking around ideas of wheeled stands / table, which would be better? Does anyone have plans for either?

Thanks,

A wheeled stand, not multiple.

Multiple stand could easily cause trouble when moving it around.

Try design and build something the right night that looks, something like the parallel bars in the gym.

Nothing to big and strong ot technical as you will still need to access all parts of the car from underneath.

Shopping trolley wheels are well strong enough as they can carry the weight you require.

Scaffold poles are more than strong enough for the frame. Simple oblong at the bottom and Bobs your uncle.

Either use padding between the chassis and frame or as some pro's do, tack weld chassis to it using the build frame as a jig, keeping chassis square through all parts of the build when different parts are added to it.

The zero pedals are just fine as standard no need to go to expense and complication of a floor mounted pedal box. When you order you can ask that longer pedals are specified if your feet are really dainty. When I built mine I fitted runners to the drivers seat and the range went from me 6 feet 4 to my good lady who is about your height.

Pedal wise I was just concerned about reaching them comfortably. Most Road cars I have seat all the way forward, or one click back. I am a short-ass!

Thanks for all replies.
