hi got a prob!. sumps hit the deck 1600 pinto need a cut down sump. also geting rid of the pillars so need coilovers . any body upgraded and have the old ones left just need sumthing to work with will have ago at the wishbones myself. so need sierra hubs . coilovers front. 1600 pinto sump . cut down. any pointers in the right diarecshion . only prob im in cornwall falmouth so need to be posted most likely . cheers steve

hi boys now have a sump on its way and looking into having wishbones made thanks for the offers cheers. any body know if mx5 hubs 4stud can be adapted to ford 4stud hubs redrilled ect cos thay look just like cortina but hub pattern is wrong .

my 2b with the standard RH wishbones are running 325lb 1.8ID springs on gaz gold. Only been on a few months and seem to be right to me. I had the green zimmerride ones before which were 320lb so i've gone up 5lbs.

 

it may also depend a little on where your bottom shock mount is as i have mine pretty close to the hub so there is less leverage than if it was further in. Not sure of the exact difference it will make if you move out or in by 1-2 cms so it may be negligible but it must have some effect.

 

I've got the 1.6 e-max pinto which is the same size/weight as a 2ltr pinto.
