<script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/70406174/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"> </script> I have recently purchased a Robin Hood with a Cosworth turbo engine. I am in Australia and bought the car via auction. The car has been located in Western Australia but is formerly from the UK. The car came with no documents or contact details of the former owner. It is claimed to be built in 1987 - but I believe it is more likely 1997 as it has Sierra front end with inboard Spax, YB Cosworth Turbo engine and Sierra IRS suspension. The odometer has a mere 2,700 miles - and upon inspection on the hoist suspension bushes, brake pad wear, and zero stone chips on the exterior seems consistent with the mileage shown.

If anyone recognises this particular car it would be great to hear from you.

Kind regards

Hi Paul, I spoke to you on Facebook when you were looking to buy this (Stu Thomas). Ive sent the link to another member, I spoke to him about this car and he thought it could be his old one, as his s7 was UK built and when he sold it was converted to cosworth setup like yours has.

Edit. He just replied, or his, his had double wishbone front suspension.

Greetings Stu.

Thank you for taking the time to chase up a possible previous

owner for me.

The car drives very nicely on my local country roads but definitely needs

a wee bit more boost to liven her up. ( currently at 10psi) I also own a Mitsubishi EVO 7

that I use in Hillclimbs that’s running 25psi and 310kwatw.

Do you have any idea how many Robin Hoods might be located in Australia?

I look forward to getting to know the Robin Hood owners community.

Wishing you a lovely day or evening

Regards Paul Keen
