Battery Connectors

I there any reason not to use the quick release style battery connectors that you can buy? Whilst I'm in a position where I'm wokring around the dash and taking the battery in/out and disconnected while I'm not working on the car, these seem like a perfect solution. So are they safe to use on a car (mostly sold in the caravan world/Marine) e.g. http://marinestore.co.uk/Merchant2/merchan...Store_Code=mrst

If you want to do it on the cheap, my old crappy Laguna has terminals with a big plastic nut affair on the top so you can quickly take them off by hand, might be worth adapting if you're passing a scrappy?........

most peugeots have quick release battery terminals on them.

I know its too late for you, but others may find this of use.

My daughter's 106 has these connectors - I'm still trying to figure out how they work
