Hi All,

Anyone know the Weber recommended fuel pressure for twin 45 DOS carbs? I have a Malpassi filter / regulator and have just bought a fuel pressure gauge so I want to check the setup.

Thanks

I have no experience of this but I do have a tuning book that states "Webbers and Dellortos require high fuel volume not high fuel pressure. Between 1.5 to 2.5 pounds per square inch" is what's required. Fit the gauge to the last fuel union and test the pressure at all engine speeds.

Ahh, Burton recommend 3.5 psi for Webers. I have a fuel pressure regulator fitted, which is 3psi in stock factory settings - I'm yet to adjust it - my engine idles fine (twin 45 DCOE's), and seems to respond ok to throttle inputs, but I'm still very much in the early stages of setting it up, so I don't know if it'll need more juice when I give it some beans.
