I am installing a pinto in to my zero, but when I have trial fitted the enging, the alternator fowl's the steering column, do I need a different bracket / alternator? Or am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

Chris

I had the same issue, have fitted a small denso alternator with a bracket from the Westfield site. Or make your own if you can, I couldn't!

Should be something on my blog about this.

Had the same problem on my 2B - fitted a small jap alternator as above but beware as some need an extra switched +12V from the ignition circuit. Easy enough to do - but a pain if you've already got your loom sorted out.
