Getting to the stage where o will be connecting the electrics don't want to use the old sierra one as I am sure it's much bigger than required

 

Any suggestions as to minimum amps I need to be looking to buy

 

Ps running 2l pinto on bike carbs

If post not clear the question is what size capacity battery do I need

I've fiited this 063 battery. Turns over my 2l zetec with no problems

Odyssey PC545 has done my zetecs for the last 4 years.

Started first turn of the key in May when I got back from 3 months in Oz! I had left it disconnected.

Mine says 055 on the top, bought it this year under 50 quid. Smaller than old battery and as you saw last night, it's got plenty of cranking power for a pinto. Connections are different but good value.
