Well the time has come to swap over to injection been gathering the parts together over the last couple of months going with the megasquirt Gbs plenum St170 fuel rail and the in tank pump and swirl pot once it's running then for the turbo conversion can't wait

Unfortunately it won't be done by tomorrow got to wait for the Gbs plenum

The plenum will not take the boost. You need to beef it up a bit

Hi Chris,

Yes I did make my own plenum chamber out of Aluminium,

Looking at the photos of the GBS unit, was this designed to be forced inducted ?

The metal is so thin its been flexing on boost, causing the metal to harden and crack.

You would be better making your own.

If my memory serves me correctly the gbs plenuims were cracking in non boosted applications aswell, I,m sure that was the early versions. Boosted is a different kettle of fish...

You can use the pulsar plenum. backing plate needs to be made up. £45 here

as I had already placed an order for the gbs plenum I will have to use that for now and if cracking happens then will have to look at making one
