When we were celebrating our 30th wedding annniversary

at a restaurant in Mauritius the Maitre d' asked me how we had lasted so long.

I didnt have an answer right then, but after a time, I figured it out....

 

Pam never asks for too much....so I never have to say no.

It's horrible....you'll hate it......I am prepared to buy your tickets for 50%.

 

Dont get roped in to agents trips...they are a huge ripoff.

You can hire a taxi all paid for a whole day for a really silly price.

In 2001 it cost us £35, in 2011 it cost £50.

Visit the fruit & veg & general market in Port Louis,

the fish & meat markets across the road need a really strong stomach.

Botanical gardens are a very good 2 - 3 hour visit.

If you hire a taxi, just ask the driver to show you the sights.

Avoid Curepipe at all costs.....there is a huge tax free jewellery factory outlet. LOL
