Rizla -- I've been doing a bit of weighing and some calculations and noticing your signature as ---- MNRacing vortx rt fireblade 919cc 0-60 in 3.3 seconds

weight 420kg 130bhp@10,500rpm (315bhp per ton)

came up with this

Robin Hood Rover 3923cc 0-60 difficult to time, weight 1550lbs (0.69tonnes) 248bhp@5200rpm (at the wheels) (359bhp per ton)

I wonder how Tims will read as well as I think his is more powerful than mine - it will be fun to see you both head to head at Barkston in September

 no,not put in my place,we shall see in september :p

on a serious note my figures are exact,as tested by ian hyne and co at kitcar mag,and tested by them with that funny wheel thing that sits at the rear they use

but all this is imaterial, you can have a million horse power, and it needs to go round corners aswell

in fact i will give anyone and i mean anyone 50 bear vouchers if they beat me round a track :o now theres what you call a challenge :p

just out of interest my zetec lump pushed out 330 bhp in my escort, now it's in the kit i estimate around 800kg, plus the other extensive mod's to it while i'm building hoping around 365bhp this time, c'mon chaps this is what i've been waiting for but to be honest, with them two racing my money's on rizla. C'MON RIZLA :p

130bhp/420kg = .309 *1000 = 309 bhp/tonne

or it was when I went to school

with rizla driving (If he diets) ;)

130 bhp/530kg= .245 *1000 = 245 bhp/tonne

i have seen catehams on a rolling road being maped with bike engines, and 130bhp @ flywheel @ 10.500 rpm seams good. 0 to 60 on a power run gets to 140mph very fast. a race tuned 2l pinto makes a max 141bhp @ flywheel but takes longer to get max reves. my money is on rezca. :)
