Raising Seats

Well, looks like I'm going to have to raise my seats for IVA because the harness slots are too low so belt run isn't straight.

 

I was thinking of just using a pile of penny washers between runner and floor plate washer but it doesn't feel right - my seat will effectively be balancing on them.

 

Is there a better way of doing this or will that be OK?

Maybe you could use a length of rectangular hollow section mild steel tube the length of the runners

& bolt right through that....or maybe across the width of the seat may be more stable?

Ah, across the width - that sounds a better idea...
