Average eight self inflicted drunks / druggies a night last year.

From which not even 1 per night went to hospital.

They also travel on foot through the city centre dragging the not so drunks back to the unit, to make up the numbers.

What a great expense, even with sponsors helping.

Is it really worth it? They do have roadside kerbs with drains in Bristol don't they.

Sorry but 8 people per night, across however many hospitals there are in Bristol, does not strike me as being that worthy a cause to spend extra money on.

They say they can't afford better care for the genuinely sick and elderly right across Britain.

That's where any extra funding should go.

Don't like a waste of money when other more worthy causes could make a better use of the money.

Always managed to get myself home when in different states of drunken stupor.

 

The only time I have been worried for my well being is when I have woken up next to some ugly woman with her head resting on my arm.

It is extremely difficult trying not to wake them up so you can escape their clutches.

Always been well sorted by mates and never had to bother busy A&E units.

If I remember correctly, you were keeping us all in the dark when you were buying your Zero.

Kept telling us all to wait and find out, or similar.
