12Mm Fuel Hose

Hi all, need a few inches of 12mm fuel hose as the new injector pump has 12mm inlet as opposed to existing pump with 15mm.

 

Can't do a hoodie fix as have no way of altering 12mm ally tube to 15mm.

Lack of knowledge on my part Chris, thought the next size down was 10mm --although that may not help as very little pipe stub left on pump after the swaged end is removed for back-nut & new olive.

Wouldn't rate the efficacy of a soldered union between parent metals of aluminium & copper, Stephen. Don't think it would work, even if compatible it's a lot of ally to get up to temp.

 

Ken is sending a short 12mm hose so will go the mechanical route.

Ally won't solder.

Well I can't do it.

Plumbers bits with fuel? Maybe.

Full repair. New union if possible. car builders solutions.

ken a lot of fuel systems are made of copper pipe and brass fittings a comp fitting is brass

Oops, sorry Chris. I just thought plumbers = plastic these days.

Didn't take into consideration there were still truist about. ( spell checker didn't pick it up )
