Leg Room

Hi, I've just fitted my seats (cobra six one two's) and I'm struggling for leg room and I seem to be sitting really high up. The seats have no spacers on be back fittings and 1 inch on the front. I just seem to be sitting on the car than in it. Any ideas on how to get more room. I'm 6 foot 3.

Cobra 7's in our 2B -- no problem with height or legroom ( 6' 1" ) & we have the seats on runners so Mo can drive (5' 3" ) maybe ours feels O.K because we have a taller 'screen fitted -- based on MG Midget frame. Or your pedals need to be cut, straightened & re-welded.

I did away with the runners and bolted the seats directly to the floor - it got me much more in that on the car. It was sparked by a day at Caterham whereby you sit much lower than I was and it felt so good

Aledgedly, floor mounted pedal boxes give more room.

I don't think I will go for them though as I am used to sliding my left foot under the clutch pedal now.

This give me the opportunity to straighten at least one leg on long journey's.

Wide open throttle to straighten the other then ;)
