Fuel Pump

Hi all,

 

Another beginners question but could anyone please tell me how to connect up an R1 fuel pump to a zetec.

 

Fuel tank in my 2b is the staineless type that has two pipes currently, fuel in and return. Where do i sit the pump and what connects where. The pump is a 1999 version with two outlets, one curved one straight (if that helps!)

 

Ideally as the fuel pipes are already in place i would like to install in the engine bay, but have read that this is not a efficent as putting in the rear, below the tank?

Hi Simon, i have a 2B and i fitted my facet fuel pump in front of the fuel tank just behined the rear diff. Made an aluminium bracket drilled and taped the 2 down tubes which the fuel tank sit's on. Also rubber mounted the bracket and fuel pump, all works well.
