Here is a link to The Telegraph - it must be true

I Don't Believe It

This link came from someone in the states - on an "All Terrain Board" site. (That's what the internet is all about)

I'm a bit worried myself - I'm sure over the years I've threatened a few vehicles with various methods of abuse, of course I've never done it  No really I haven't

And Pavements :o

good job they didn't catch him with a blow up doll, ? how do you have s*x with a push bike unless it was like the old village bike or school bike, mind you the inner tubes could be used as a spare condom at a push

A Diving aquaintance of mine used a "blow up Betty" as a surface marker buoy and that always encited very rude methods of retreval.

The use of this was curtailed after a "Stiff talking too" from the coastguard (and rightly so) after complaints from tourist boats near the Farn isles and the possibility of drowning naked woman reports.

Blow up betty was then replaced with a kids blow up dolphin for some time.

Just to continue in the loop

This reminds me of the Tom Lehrer ( the American maths' professor and singer)

In one of his songs - "In Old Mexico"

"His educational career began interestingly enough in agricultural school, where he majored in animal husbandry, until they caught him at it one day".

The same song contains the immortal ?? words

"For I hadn't had so much fun since the day

My brother's dog Rover

Got run over.

(Rover was killed by a Pontiac. And it was done with

such grace and artistry that the witnesses awarded the

driver both ears and the tail - but I digress.)"

Yeah - maybe I do

Ok so he is pretty wierd, or even mind bogglingly bonkers but.......

The guy was in a hotel room with the door locked performing in private. As far as I am aware there are no laws about inanimate objects or appliances used in private for this purpose being illegal. There are many designed just for this purpose and to be used solo or with a friend or friends. Can't quite work out what law he was breaking. I see he was done for sexual breach of the peace. Presumably it was because he was caught 'in fragrante' with an inanimate object, not of a type fit for purpose. Lucky health and safety didn't have a go as well. (Prosecuting I mean, not with the bicycle)

Had he been swinging from the chandelier a woman or man over the age of 16 it would probably have been OK.

Not sure if the law isn't stranger than the bloke.

Hi Nigel,

It may hinge on the extra "s" - he was staying in a Hostel. What in law is the difference

Also, if he had said the words "Bu**er off" when the hostel staff knocked on the door what would have been the outcome then ?

He has recently been sentenced - to 3 years probation Details Here together with discussion.

It's all a bit sad and gets worse as you read down the article

Read more and remain unconvinced. He was a sad old tosser, and somewhat drunk. I don't understand why the cleaners continued to invade his privacy after they had opened the door and didn't just exit the room with an apology. Why put him on the sexual offenders register. What threat does he pose to anyone except bicycles. Read the comments on the Telegraph page. I think Manuel Hung sums it up.
