V8 Robin Hood For Sale

Reluctant sale of my Robin Hood Exmo.

I've owned and loved her for over 10years however I've come to the point where I want a new toy tinker with. MOT runs out at the end of this week so I will be sorting that so she will be sold with a full 12months.

Engine: Very high specification 3.9ltr Rover V8 with lightened flywheel and megajolt ignition producing 269bhp & 303ftlbs.

Drive train: Type 9 gearbox with hydraulic clutch and Sierra 3.38 Diff.

Suspension: Brand new Gaz coilovers on the rear and brand new dampers and springs on the front.

Front also has the tie-bar conversion.

Brakes: Brand new drilled and grooves discs on the front along with new callipers and mintex1144 pads.

Rear is standard drums.

Interia: 1 year old Intatrim Odyssey red and black seats.

Black carpets

ETB instruments (needs new speedo cable)

Carbon Fibre aeroscreen

Exterior: The car is what you would expect for it's age.....paintwork chips and scratches etc.....but on the whole, I've always taken great pride in her appearance and build standard.

Spoiler currently not fitted but you can have it if you want it.

The Mono-tub has been strengthen to take the power of the V8.

The exhaust alone cost a fortune but well worth it as it sounds awsome!!! I had it measured at 104db at Blyton.

I've spent thousand over the years upgrading this car knowing that I'll never recoup anywhere near what I've spent....but I did it for the love of tinkering and I've realised that I've now reached a point where there isn't much else that can be done to her therefore it is time to sell up and start all over again on a different kitcar.

This is a unique Exmo that has been built and upgraded to a very high standard......£5000

Cheers Nikki......I'm open to offers if she goes to a good home.... but I've already got in mind what kitcar I'd like next and it's not going to be a 7 type car :)

She'll be going on eBay around the beginning of July once I'm back from my hols...

Its a great looking car. I can understand your reasons. I saw some great cars that got me thinking about changing mine.

I really like the mr2 based Avalanche and mx5 widow sports cars. Both body conversions.

Is your next one Steam driven?
