Entrance to pub car park is off the A452 Chester Road heading North 50 yards from the island.

 

I can't make this month's meeting but should be back in October. I think some new members might be coming along so can the regulars keep a look out for them please?

Not trying to put a damper on things, but:

 

Let's hope the traffic is not as bad as it has been the last 2 weeks at the Stonebridge island.

 

The on-going road works to expand the road network for the M42, NEC and Birmingham airport that started August 28th thru until the end of November has been causing major gridlock around that area from about 16:30 onwards.

 

So a word of warning to anybody thinking of travelling, check the Solihull & Birmingham travel news for the surrounding area to make sure the rush hour traffic has cleared.

 

The recent M6 closure crippled that part of the road system all night as people tried to find alternative routes.
